Serial no.1 of our race suit design study that works creativity and engineering to the max. This intricate 1 of 1 tote bag utilizes an upcycled vintage race-worn Sparco NASCAR flameproof race suit dating back to the 1990s. Every inch of the original suit was utilized from the patches and pockets right down to the zipper.
 

[EXTERIOR DETAILS]
The front side of the tote utilizes the chest of the suit, from the neck down to the waist. The original zipper is fully functional and a button was added to the top to further increase the rigidity of the structure. The rear of the tote utilizes the waist down to the knees, including the front pockets. The sides of the suit and bottom utilize the arms of the suit. Shoulder straps were engineered using the waist strap along with the race suit's original shoulder grab handles, and are adorned with the original Sparco neck tags along with the Sparco and NASCAR patches.
 

[INTERIOR DETAILS]
The interior is lined with the back, legs and arms of the suit. A pocket was engineered using the original Sparco elastic band that was stitched in the interior of the suit. The only piece of additional fabric used for the tote is the orange nylon strip that lines the inner rim of the tote and was engineered to add structural integrity.
